# orange peel chutney

 


Fry orange peels in cooking oil and blend with red chilli, tamarind, coconut and salt. Season with mustard, curry leaves and chili. Easy and tasty orange peel chutney is ready to serve with dosa or chapathi.

Orange peels are good source of vitamin c and B complex. They have anticancerous property also.

Don't throw orange peels when you eat orange next time..

#Breadfruit Rawa tawa fry


 

As the nutritional benefits of breadfruit are amazing as seen in previous post - tried this simple and yummy rawa tawa fry with breadfruit ( beruhalasina kayi)

Peel of the skin and make slices of desired shape of breadfruit. Chilli powder, salt, turmeric, curry leaves mixed with rawa and coated to slices of breadfruit. Cook with oil on a tawa  both sides and instant desirecipe breadfruit rawa tawa fry is ready. 

This is very easy to prepare and goes well with curd rice if you are not in a mood to cook much for lunch. Children definitely like it..

#Breadfruit masala

 


Bread fruit or beruhalasinakayi  is used in traditional cooking in a variety of ways.

This is little different one.. This can be combined with rice or roti/ chapathi.. Try this spicy recipe for a dull rainy afternoon..

Peel and make small pieces of breadfruit. Cook in a vessel or pressure cook just for one whistle. Keep aside. Prepare the masala with cooking oil, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, mustard, clove, green chilli and fry. Blend with grated coconut and tamarind. Now add the masala to the cooked breadfruit pieces. Add salt as per taste and bring to boil. Seasoning done with mustard and urad dal and curry leaves and red chilli pieces.
