Horsegram soup


Here is a healthy and tasty horsegram soup for a cozy day.. Purely desi!

Horsegram is rich in proteins, good for weight loss and sugar control. Added vegetables and ghee turn it to be complete balanced food..

Clean and Soak horsegram for 2 hours and cook well with water in cooker. Drain and keep aside the water which is also nutritious.. Blend in mixi with garlic. Meanwhile take palak , chop it. Take carrot or beetroot and grate nicely. Cumin, pepper, ginger to be powdered and added with coriander powder. Take one spoon ghee in a thick bottom pan , cook palak and beetroot, add the powder prepared , and add the blended horsegram paste. Add the water used for cooking as per the consistency required. Salt as per taste. Few corns to make it crunchy.. Cook well and dont forget to add lemon juice !
