Salad for eyehealth!

 


  This colourful and easy recipe is good for the eyesight. I have added the following raw chopped vegetables with salt as per taste..

Red cabbage -  rich in vitamin A which prevents macular degeneration and cataract.


Carrot-  good for neurosignalling improved vision at night.


Cucumber- contains more water and vitamin c and improves puffed tired eyes.


Coriander leaves- has antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.


Sweet corn- rich in  lutein and zeaxanthin and prevents cataract.


Lemon juice-  good source of vitamin c which is essential for repair.


Sprouted moong- reduces inflammation.


Tomato- lycopenes in tomatoes  prevent harmful light induced damage to retina.


Cauliflower-  contains sulforaphanes which promote retinal health.
